Understand the situation
Giant. Indifferent. Ancient. He is not chasing you personally — he is just going this way. You happen to be in his path. He never hurries. He never stops. He never reacts emotionally.
One continuous world. Every player walks the same fantasy road. Tombstones of the fallen mark exactly where others didn't make it. You will pass them. Some will pass yours.
Miss enough days and Bob closes the gap. When he reaches you — you die. Your tombstone joins the path forever. Other players will walk past it.
The mechanic
Link HealthKit (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android). No GPS. No battery drain. Just your daily step count.
Steps move you forward on the shared path. The more you walk, the further ahead of Bob you stay.
Bob advances at a fixed rate based on your difficulty tier. He never stops. He doesn't care about your excuses.
Keep walking and you survive. Fall behind and Bob catches you. Your tombstone will be beautiful.
